Privacy Policy
How AnInnovation Ltd. handles personal data on this website.
Who we are
AnInnovation Ltd. ("AnInnovation", "we", "us") is a UK-registered AI and IT transformation consultancy. We are the data controller for personal data collected through aninnovation.co.uk.
For privacy queries, contact privacy@aninnovation.co.uk.
What we collect
Contact form submissions
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the name, organisation, email address, and message you provide.
Server logs
Our hosting provider (Vercel) records standard request metadata — IP address, user-agent, timestamp — for security and abuse prevention. These logs are retained for a short period and are not used for tracking or profiling.
We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, fingerprinting, or marketing cookies.
How we use it
Personal data submitted through the contact form is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add it to marketing lists, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for automated decision-making.
Lawful basis (UK GDPR)
We process contact form data under Article 6(1)(f) — legitimate interests. Specifically, our interest in responding to business enquiries, balanced against your reasonable expectation of receiving a response when contacting us through a contact form.
Third parties
We rely on the following processors to operate the site:
- Vercel — hosting and edge network
- Resend — delivers contact form submissions to our inbox
- ImprovMX — forwards email sent to our domain
- Google (Gmail) — receives forwarded mail
- Google Fonts — serves typography (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com)
When fonts load from a third-party CDN, your IP address is shared with the CDN operator. Their logging practices are governed by their own privacy policies. Site imagery is served directly and is not shared with any third party.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained as ordinary email correspondence. You can request deletion at any time. Server logs are retained according to Vercel's standard policy.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion (right to erasure)
- Object to processing
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)
To exercise any of these, email privacy@aninnovation.co.uk.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking, analytics, or marketing cookies. The only client-side storage we use is a single localStorage entry to remember that you have dismissed the cookie notice. This entry contains no personal data.
International transfers
Some processors above (Vercel, Resend, Google) operate in or transfer data outside the UK. They rely on standard contractual clauses and other approved transfer mechanisms; their published documentation describes specifics.
Changes
We may update this policy. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be flagged on the site.
